Hi, There!
My name is Olga Volkus and I'm the person standing behind the Lollipop Graphics. I was born is Moscow, Russia, but have been living and working in South Florida for the past 9 years. I've been working as a graphic designer since 2003 when I've started doing small freelance jobs. Gradually I've grown into a professional designer and worked at companies such as Atico Int'l and Preferred Print while always maintaining steady freelance clientele. I'm currently working as a freelance digital artist, and keeping my eyes open for new opportunities to collaborate, learn and explore.
When I'm not working, I'm travelling the world, taking photos, making crafty things or drinking tea!

Work experience
Senior Graphic DesignerNovember 2009 — April 2011
Preferred Print, Full-Time
Being a senior graphic designer, Olga's responsibilities at Preferred Print included creating flyers, logos, developing corporate identity, making product shots, front-end webdesign, editing and retouching photographs, laying out booklets and brochures. She has been attending meeting with the clients and conceptualizing their projects. She has also been in direct contact with the clients and vendors, thus ensuring smooth and productive workflow.
Technical aspects involved setting up files for spot printing, color separation, designing for large formats (i.e. banners, vehicle wraps, movie theater screens), digitizing logos and illustration.
Packaging DesignerOctober 2006 — September 2009
ATICO Intl, Full-Time
Starting as a mock-up artist, Olga has been responsible for assembling sample packaging, creating showroom signage, orginizing photostock directory, and working on occasional packaging projects. Soon she has been promoted as the packaging designer, responsible for developing and designing various types of packaging and product designs such as electronics, giftware and houseware packaging, stationery, label and toy design.
Technical aspects included creating dielines, generating patterns, applying copyrighted artwork following the design manuals, creating print-ready files, product photography, installing signage for the showrooms, printing large format artwork.

During this period Olga has been working with various clients such as Florida Russian Magazine, Pan-American Mortgage Brokerage, Russian-American Chamber of South Florida, festival "Free World", DZP Construction Group, Transcendance, Atlantic Yach and Ship Inc, Into Action Treatment, European School of Art and The 9s Marketing Group.
